Shoes are a gamble even being able to try them on. The good selection of sizes encouraged me to try ordering these, and it ended up being a solid choice. I normally wear a 1/2-size smaller, but did not want to end up with a too small shoe. They are slightly big, but with a running sock instead of a dress sock they are fine.

Travelling overseas I wore these on the trip there, extra convenience at security since they slip on and off. The first day they were on my feet 16 hours straight including jaunts around a mine. They were so comfortable I almost forgot I had new shoes on were it not for their standout appearance (no scuffs etc.). They are also not too bulky as safety shoes go, so I can still fit them in my small carryon suitcase. They also serve sytlishly as a business-casual shoe, and it'd be hard to tell they are actually safety shoes.

The only drawback: a little hard to get on and off for a slip-on, but this is easing with use and will probably cease to be an issue at all.

I was very excited about the reviews for these when I ordered them, but I felt I should add my own after I received them. Tried them on and immediately knew they wouldn't work and I'd have to return them. Extremely comfortable with one exception: the ankle area. Since they're slip on, the ankle area should obviously be tighter, but these cut into my ankles pretty bad. If you work on your feet all day, these might be right for you. However if you WALK on your feet all day, these may cause a problem with the friction on your ankles. Just something to consider.

After reading the other reviews, I decided to take the plunge and try a new brand. Having been a long time Red Wing and Worx fan, I wanted to see if I was falling for brand hype, or perhaps there was something better out there.

This shoe is ok, but not one I will buy again. I like the slip on, and the style is nice, but they are very stiff out of the box, and are taking a long time to break in.

They don't offer the comfort of similarly priced shoes from Red Wing. They are slightly snug on my toes (I have a wide foot).

On the up side, they are stylish enough to wear to casual events, such as business dinners.

Overall, they are ok for the money, but not the best. I like them enough to keep wearing them, but not enough to buy them again.

I have been wearing Timberland Titan safety shoes for years. I work as an engineer in a manufacturing environment, so I need a safety shoe that works on the shop floor and in the office. I was pleased to see that Timberland had added a slip-on shoe to the Titan family.

The shoes are well made and as expected, they are just as comfortable on my feet as the lace-up versions. My one concern is that they are very tight to get on. I have to use a shoe horn. Perhaps they will loosen up over time, but I have had them for two weeks and they haven't loosened up yet. This would count against using them for travel as I do not want to struggle after airport security to get my shoes back on (minus one star). Other than that, they are a win! When I come home at the end of the day, my feet don't hurt, even after pounding them on concrete floors all day. Also, I am not embarrassed to wear them if I have to meet my wife somewhere immediately after work.

Just my 2-cents for people buying this shoe online. The fit is a little on the big side. I bought a size 13 but a 12.5 (if there's one) could have been a much better fit. Regardless of that, this shoe is very comfortable and very nice looking. Shoe is a little heavy but that's to expect from a work shoe with safety-toe. Would buy again.

Purchased the safety shoes for work, what a difference they make. I had used cheaper safety shoes and my legs would hurt at night, once I switched, WOW I knew I liked the Timberland brand after owning other of thier shoes but these have already paid for themselves in comfort alone.

I have owned a pair of these Timberland safety shoes for a year and 6 months now and I love them! They are still as comfortable as the first day and I wear these 6 days a week between 8 to 10 hours a day on asphalt and cement, anyone in aviation maintenance knows what that's like. The fact that they are a bit harder to get on and off (as stated in another review)is actually a plus since this is what a "Safety" shoe should do, I do not want it coming off too easy. These shoes have endured dust, heat, cold, rain and snow and are still in good shape. They fit true to size and I love the arch support which actually puts a spring in your step. You cannot go wrong with these shoes, I highly recommend them.

This is a good, durable and light for being a steel toe shoe. I normally go through shoes or boots every three to six months. I have been wearing these for about 9 months and they are still going strong. I normally wear a 13 in Timberland's but the 13's I got here have turned out to be to big. Since there is no laces you cannot tighten up the shoe (its an unexpected down side). If you order them I would order them a half size smaller.

So far so good. A little stiff at first and the back of the shoe dug in my ankle for a few days. This has since went away and they are breaking-in well. Great soles on these..seem to be very slip resistant. If you are looking for comfort right out of the box, these may not be for you. If you want a shoe that when broken in is a solid comfortable fit, these are as good as I have tried.

At first they were a bit tedious to put on with thick socks, but after a week or two they break in very nicely. I get new work shoes once a year and have been particular to the Timberland Pro line for quite some time now. I would have to say that I like these shoes better that the other more popular Timberland Pro's.
