5.0 out of 5 stars Well made, light duty boot.
Nicely made, light, and very comfy for well used feet !
East off, easy on. No need to pull laces from eyes to loosen and slip off.
Size is correct....that is a rare thing these days. High quality laces that stayed tied all day!!! Well worth the price.

2.0 out of 5 stars These boots are comfortable but they only last six months.
I have worked in these boots six days a week for seven months. They now have large cracks in the soles (same spots on both boots) that let water in. Which makes them useless in exterior construction work or anything else out doors if it should rain. Seven months ago I was a fan of these boots. They were easily the most comfortable boot I have ever tried. However, for...

I am on my second pair of these boots. I feel more comfortable in these boots than I do in my tennis shoes. I wear them on average at least 5 days a week and they hold up well. I would recommend these boots to anybody.

5.0 out of 5 stars best work boots for me, September 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I work as a land surveyor and these are my favorites. They only last about a year (daily field use) but they are the most comfortable for my feet. This is my fourth pair in four years and i will probably continue to purchase a new pair yearly. They look great too (but their best attribute is comfort...top notch)!

LIGHT,COMFORTABLE,DURABLE,FIT WELL AND RESONABLY PRICED. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE SOLES CRACKING ON THE FIRST PAIR I BOUGHT, BUT THE COMPANY STOOD BY THIER PRODUCT AND REPLACED THEM, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I AM CURRENTLY WEARING THAT PAIR AND AM HAVING NO PROBLEMS.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome work boot!, January 29, 2011

This is an excellent boot for work or casual wear. I stand on concrete for 10 hours a day and at the end of the day my feet don't hurt like they used to before I found these boots. They hold up very well and the only thing I've done is replaced the insoles when they wear out. I just ordered my 2nd pair through amazon.com from shoes.com and I would recommend the boots, amazon.com or shoes.com to anyone!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not the same boot it used to be, February 17, 2012

My husband has worn this brand and style of boot for years and years. He has always been happy with the fit and durability of these Timerlands. The pair I ordered for him as a gift arrived, he tried them on, and the fit was totally different, he couldn't even get his foot in them. Timberland changed the country in which they were manufactured, and the design must've changed. If you actually measure the boot they are no longer 6" and the angle of this shortened boot makes it impossible to get your feet in them. Very disappointed after all these years.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Most, December 4, 2011
By
You will end up buying a gel insole within a couple months, the removable insole will wear through. That is no big deal, the boots are holding up very well after 6 months of squatting, climbing, and crawling under houses. Occasionally I put some brown liquid polish & they're good to go. Heavy usage with no splits.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Boots for Light Construction, December 20, 2010
I worked as a an intern for a major general contractor for about five months. These boots were extremely comfortable, even comfortable enough to wear with short socks on blistering days.

There have been many comments about the boots not holding up. I've seen no signs of it, although I worked as a construction surveyor and never did any heavy-duty construction work.

Great boots. I would recommend for a first pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Boots!, November 1, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been putting these boot to the test. I now have four pairs so I can rotate them. They are holding up very well. I have some older pairs that are still doing well. I learned to get more then one pair so they will last longer. I know it's more money, but it's worth it to me in the long run... These are great boots!!!
