Thank you for your feedback.
He has plantar fasciitis, and these have great fit and comfort for his arches.
It meets all the Companys requirements and the fact that they are waterproof is a bonus and much needed in production.
He reports that they fit well and are comfortable.

I bought these boots for my fiancé, he needed a pair of steeltoe waterproof boots. I liked the looks of them, and $106 for timberland boots was reasonable. Yesterday it rained, and they were not waterproof and provided him with poor protection against the water. He does say they are very comfortable, but the amount of cover against the elements is not satisfactory at all.

after 6 months of ownership the fell apart pretty bad. First pair of Tims this has happened to. I've owned Wal-Mart boots that wore better then these. Won't buy Power Welt Tims again!

This is my fourth purchase of the same shoe . I wear these shoes about 10 hours a day in trying conditions for any footwear. The southwest desert high country landfill that I work at has destroyed many pairs of various well known name brand work boots in short order. These, however have held up two to three times longer AND retained water tightness! Temps ranging from 5 to 115 degrees, wet snow to relentless scorching sun, sharp gravel, mud, dust, and filth of every description have taken their toll cosmetically but have failed to kill them. I do not clean, oil, or otherwise maintain them. I must emphasize these are the only shoes that keep my feet dry in winter . Being available in my wide size (toe is wider too) is a plus.

These boots are being worn by myself every day and though they are comfortable, it took awhile to break them in. I actually had a scab on my front ankle for a couple of days and had to wear a band aid for a week . But now they are fine, it's only been a couple of months but they are serving me well now.

Hubby says these are the most comfortable work boots he has had in years. They are fairly light for being steel toed and the waterproofing does not keep his feet from breathing. When this current pair wears out we will be back for another round.

    Update!

Bought another pair in January 2014. These lasted longer than expected with nearly daily wear in the oil field.

These are perhaps the most uncomfortable, painful boots in which I've ever had the misfortune to walk more than a step. Just God-awful. I don't know what the ordinarily brilliant folks at Timberland were thinking when they designed these "professional" work boots, but it certainly wasn't about work, comfort, or the survival of the wearer's foot to the end of the workday. I've worn work boots or hiking boots almost every day for the last 30 years and nothing, not even a brand-new pair of Navy-issue chukkas, match these for discomfort. Specifically, they do not lace up very snug, you either lace them loosely or tight at the top and loose at the bottom. If laced loosely they, of course, move around on the feet like a pair of flipflops; if laced snugly then the top of the shoe grips the ankle in a most painful way. Lastly, the nice folks at Timberland must have spent millions inventing an upper that collects (and holds!) dirt and dust better than a shopvac, and a tread that is absolute tops for the speed at which it clogs with whatever loose material on which you might walk -- sawdust in my case. Needless to say, these have been returned. I went back to my 12" Matterhorn combat boots which I've had for more than 15 years and resoled twice -- the shoe engineers at Timberland ought to just buy a pair of these and reverse engineer them.
