I've been torturing myself for years wearing the cheap walmart/payless/kmart steel toe bricks on my feet. Only to have those things last about 3-6 months and cripple my poor feet. I finally said enough is enough and decided to invest in some real boots. I tried these on at my local sears and couldn't believe how comfortable and light-weight they were. They were on sale and I wanted to get them on the spot, but I checked here at Amazon first and found them $20 cheaper. They arrived quickly and the first evening I wore them out with the family to a restaurant and I kept commenting on how they were more comfortable then my nikes. I've had them about a month now and they are light years better than anything I've had. I work outside as a steel fabricator/structural welder climbing up and down marine craft and these boots have been awesome. If they continue to pass the test of time, I would have no problem buying these over and over.

This is my 3rd pair. They last about a year with me wearing them 99% of the time. The soles will wear out first. I could buy redwings at twice the cost and have them last 1.5 to 2 years or buy these and get a new clean pair each year. No complaints, just wish the soles would last longer. I am a hvac techincian by trade.

These are the most comfortable, lightest weight steel-toe work boot I've found, and very comfortable. I'm a general contractor and do a lot of hands-on work myself. I've bought more expensive boots that were so heavy that your feet would be dragging at the end of the day. I've bought wally-world boots that were cheap, heavy and uncomfortable. These are the best!

I have been buying Timberland boots for about 10 years. I just retired my old pair after 2.5 year of use. I work in road and bridge construction so my boots get abused. Concrete, Asphalt, and mud are just a few. These boots are also very comfortable and the safety toe doesn't pinch your toes. These are a must try if you have not alread done so.

These are my 5th pair of Timberland PRO boots. Very light, nice and wide. will last around 2yrs of pretty constant wear 5 days a week walking the shop floor. I would not recommend these for outside construction type work or climbing ladders etc... the soles just don't hold up to heavy abuse. I am a supervisor and walk several miles a night on a concrete floor inside, they are perfect for that. After about a year and a half / 2 years every pair as failed in the same way. The sole will crack about midway and eventually deteriorate completely but it's hard to expect much more from $100 boots. Very good for the $

I purchased a pair of this same boot locally over 2 years ago. They lasted so well I wanted another pair. Unfortunately the new pair only lasted a couple months before the sole on one boot started to come apart. Amazon was great in replacing them at no charge to me. I recieved the exchange pair last week and haven't worn them yet. We'll see how it goes.

I have had these boots for under a year. They get everyday use and not short hours. The insoles started wearing through after a couple months of having them. The soles have also cracked completely through in on spot on one shoe and 2 spots on the other role, because of this my feet are soaking wet all day long because the floor in the garage I work in is always wet. I understand they are not waterproof but i don't need waterproof boots to walk on a wet floor the water never accumulates. I realize now that I need to just bite the bullet and drop some money on serious boots. I am really disappointed in these boots because they are really comfortable.
