Don't get me wrong. These shoes felt like pretty good shoes for the little trial walk I gave them. I had purchased the Timberland Mt Kiscoe Slip-On shoes from amazon the day before. I'm a an ER nurse and on my feet for abt 12 hours straight. I found some years ago my feet feel better after 12hrs in Timberland hiking boots than 12hrs in running shoes. After 7 years and thousands of miles (in the mountains and the hospital) my boots were wearing out. I wanted something that I could slip off for the ~27 seconds I get to sit down now and then and let my feet air out.

First night with the Kiscoes I brought a 2nd pair of shoes... new shoes generally require some breaking in. Not with those. My feet felt GREAT from day one. Then I saw these, which looked exactly the same for abt $20 cheaper and figured "They're Timberlands the gotta be great." They are great, I'm sure, but night and day difference between the Kiscoes. For something that's going to be on my feet for the next 5yrs or more I'll pay the extra money.

If you're just wearing these around an office, to meetings etc. Spending most of your day sitting at a desk. Then these would be totally fine. They look essentially identical to the Kiscoes.

Needed a new pair of shoes before I went out of town and got these. Walked miles and miles (literally) while I was out of town and these shoes were great! Very light and comfortable. They are almost spongy inside. Can't say enough about how comfy they are. The only gotcha is the size. I usually wear 10.5 and after some research learned I needed to go a bit smaller, so I got 10. Highly recommend.

Have been a longtime "Timberland boot guy" and tried one of their "frequent flier friendly" shoes years ago and found them so comfortable that I bought a little supply. After my supply ran out and unable to find the old style, I tried other models and makes including Dockers and found them fitting OK, but not as comfortable as old Timberlands. The Timberlands fit me perfectly and after a day of travelling with a few connecting flights at the opposite ends of the airport, my feet still felt good. I did buy a size 8 as well, but returned it because they were just a bit too tight. The size difference was little and best described as to what types of socks you wear (dress or cottons ones) I wear cotton ones. Since I am not a selfish person (LOL) I will recommend these shoes.

I was worried about the reviews i read in relation to running large. I ordered two pair and they fit great (size 15). had them on for a day in Minnesota (negative 5 degrees) ice and snow on the ground......These shoes hugged the ground! wish Timberland made care tires! lol
Seriously, they fit great, and I am buying 2 more pair this morning since it is so difficult to find really good snow/ice business shoes that work well with a suit.

Very comfortable shoe. The soles are really like mattresses. Runs a tad small by the toes, so maybe go up one half size. Great Timberland quality and durability. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing Rockport lace up shoes for many years, I got tired of tying my shoes every day so decided it was time for slip on loafers. I was hesitant to order these online without first trying them on. My son wears Timberland shoes and he swears by them. The price hit rock bottom so took a chance and ordered a pair of brown Timberland Richmont Loafers size 9M. That is the size and width I usually wear. They arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the leather is excellent. They are lightweight but sturdily constructed. The soles have good grip. They are reasonably easy to slip on. The size is just right. They fit snugly but not too tight. They feel good on my feet. They stay on my feet securely while walking -- they do not slip off my heel at ll. Arch support is good. They are very comfortable, supportive, and dressy enough to wear to work. I like them so much got a second pair in black.

These are truly excellent and comfortable shoes. I especially like how well the tread has held up, as other brands I've had I've worn through rather quickly. Very happy with this purchase and could wear these all day, every day with little issue. They'll add about an inch to your height, so keep that in consideration if you're concerned about being too tall to begin with.

I ordered these shoes in the wide size. I can wear a 10.5 but went with an 11 just in case. I received these shoes and couldn't even get my foot inside them. Without laces the opening just isn't big enough for my foot to fit inside the shoe. Promptly returned to amazon.

I wasn't too sure about these after the first day, but after a few days of break in these shoes have proven to be far better than my expectations. I've had these for nearly a year now. They are hardly showing any wear, and are still as comfortable as the first week. I would expect these to last 3-4 years at this pace before I replace them. Lots of tread on the bottom with excellent traction in snow/ice. My biggest challenge with shoes is finding something that can fit the pedal box in my car. I wear a 15D, and these provide surprisingly great pedal feel for my long commutes. I've been really pleased with these, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair tomorrow.

My last two pair of size 12 Timberlands turned out to be a bit loose so I decided to go wide (2E) and a half size smaller (11.5). First day I wore them I got blisters on the back of my feet and I couldn't wear them anymore. Ordered a set of shoe stretchers ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005MKCEDE/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9 ) and gave them a bit of a stretch for a day or two. Still felt snug for a week but it was easily bearable. After a week they felt good and continue to feel/look good after about two months. Glad I ordered a wide (2E) size as I can't imagine how tight the normal would have felt.
