These are wonderful winter boots. Extremely well-made, but still stylish. I got them in tan, a half size up from my normal 7.5, I bought them in 8, and they fit perfectly. The inside is shearling, which is warm and comfortable. I usually favor fashion over comfort -- but these are the first time I've found a compromise.

I own the Timberland Women's Fauna Lace Boots in black. Most of the time, I'm a 7 in Timberland boots but the 7 in these were a bit snug so I sized up a half inch and that did the trick. The 7.5 fit fine. I'm not a big fan of the leather laces on these boots so I put in my own black laces. Also, the lace loops don't seem that sturdy and are a bit on the flimsy side. Surprising for a Timberland product. When I got the boots, a piece of the inside of one of the lace loop was coming apart. I had to actually glue it back in.
Now, this sounds like a negative review but that's honestly what happened when I received these. That said and done, I really like these boots a lot. After a month of wear and tear, I must say these boots hold up very well in inclement weather and they are quite sturdy and warm. The boots are very stylish and comfortable. Not to mention the amount of compliments I get on the boots and people's surprise when I tell them they are made by Timberland.
My few gripes about these boots aside, I would definitely buy these again.

I have a question to those who say these boots are warm - "Where are you wearing them?" I went out when it was 30F outside, in 10 minutes my feet were frozen! I did not expect this from Timberland at all. The boots are extremely comfortable, but absolutely unsuitable for cold weather. For my feet (I normally wear 9.5-10,) they run too long, but the width is perfect (ordered them in 10). Don't know what to do now. I do like them but can not wear. Maybe I'll try changing the insoles. Doubt it will help, though

Nice and warm, they keep my feet dry, and they are very comfortable. Excellent for the money.

I've just received them and they are so beautiful. perfect for WA weather. I'm normally a 7, but I ordered a 7,5.

I found these boots to run true to size. I'm a size 8 and I purchased an 8 and they fit perfectly. I wear them with my winter socks and they are super comfortable and warm. I'm always cold but find that as long as my feet are warm I'm ok. And these definitely do the job. The fact they are super stylish is a bonus. Love them!!!

These boots are definitely worth giving a try if you are looking for something functional with a little style. I love that they keep my feet dry and warm during the rainy season but can be worn anytime since they are not rubber rain boots. The width was a bit narrow for me at first but they definitely form to your feet after a day or two of wear. also thanks to the lacing detail, they can be adjusted to fit any calf sizes (although this sacrifices water protection where the shaft starts). Overall, a good purchase. I am very happy with these boots.

I bought this boots for my sister in law in Spain. They felt quite well, even good for winter time. She loves its smoothness.

After reading other reviews, I still ordered my regular size as everyone said they ran large. I had the opposite problem, I had to return them for a larger size, but so glad I did.

I really liked the style of the boot, but looks don't keep you warm in MI winters. The boot was VERY thin and the lining was sparse. They didn't keep my feet warm just wearing around the house so knew they wouldn't cut it out in the snow. Laces looked like they would break easily although they did come with another pair. Sizing was good - I ordered a half size bigger and that would have been perfect for thick socks. I was also disappointed in the lack of arch support. I have another pair of Timberlands and these were night and day difference in that department. Very disappointing.

I did end up returning them and instead purchased a Sorel boot that is much warmer and fits better.
