About the Author
Sigmund Brouwer is the best-selling author of many books for children and young adults. In the last ten years, he has given writing workshops to students in schools from the Arctic Circle to inner city Los Angeles. He has contributed to the Orca Currents series (Wired, Sewer Rats) and the Orca Sports series (most recently Winter Hawk Star, Hurricane Power and Hitmen Triumph). He also recently published Timberwolf Revenge and Timberwolf Chase (Orca Echoes for kids in grades 2). One of his latest novels, The Last Disciple, earned Sigmund an appearance on ABC's Good Morning America. Sigmund and his family live half the year in Nashville, Tennessee, and half the year in Red Deer, Alberta.
