The obvious choice!,

This bag is sturdy, spacious and comfortable (The sleeve has just enough room for my standard sized Dell laptop, which I believe is 14"). Just what I needed for everyday use. It looks so much more sophisticated than a backpack, and it's so much easier to carry around on cramped public transportation.

I chose this particular version of Timbuk2's line of messenger bag over their "classic" messenger bag for it's vertical shape. It's very well made and it looks to be a long-lasting bag that my previous one (a JFold) didn't make. I wouldn't change a thing about it.
Bravo, Timbuk2!

Not Timbuk2's best,

Although this bag is nice, it lacks a lot of handy features. It doesn't have a chest strap for stability while biking, you can't use the pouches in the front compartment when the bag is full, and the external pouches can't fit nalgenes (but can fit smaller water bottles).
The pros are that is is durable, light-weight, and the vertical design is really nice for crowded busses and such. |
