I was looking for something sleek and NOT utilitarian. If you are looking for something with a lot of pockets, look elsewhere. This has one large pocket with a divider for a laptop or iPad and another divider in that same area that doesn't work very well. Aside from that, there is another pocket big enough for a phone. This is perfect for me- if you are looking for something else, look elsewhere. The construction is great, the weight is great, the profile is great. I wanted to NOT look like I am about to go hiking. This does that for me.

it's exactly what it says it is - for your notebook, extra space outside of the notebook storage in main bag area, a side pocket (i use for glasses) and front pocket (for my cell).

I was expecting something with a few more pockets/dividers. This is a very plain backpack without a whole lot of room. I returned it. I think it would be good for a laptop bag, but not for sporting events.
