I used this bag for an entire summer of training and a 300 mile tour. Although I highly recommend it, there are some things that could be improved upon as described below.

This profile bag / bento box / top tube back is pricey compared to the competiting bags such as the Axiom Power Top. But to me it is well worth the money for the following reasons:
- construction seems very high quality and I think I'll get at least a decade of solid use out of this item.
- I really like the extra large main compartment; you can fit enough stuff for an all day ride, as described below
- the side mesh is perfect for small items you don't want to get lost in the main compartment, per the below.
- I love having the clear top to see and access my phone from on a ride; and love that I can also use it to alternatively hold and view cue sheets.

PROS:
Massive storage in the main compartment-
I can put *lots* of snacks plus my garage door opener in the main comparment (e.g. currently in my GB are: 2 Cliff Bars, 1 Rise bar, 1 bag of Honey Stinger Energy Chews, and my garage door opener --- with less bars I can easily put a second pair of sunglasses in there).

Side Mesh is fantastic to hold the following:
drivers lic, credit card, cash, and my bike lock key. Plus, there is still room to stuff snack trash in there as well (e.g. a used GU gel or Cliff Bar wrapper), which is perfect, because I despise seeing cycling litter on the roads.

Clear cell-phone display on top-
It took a bit of stretching, but after 5-10 uses, my old Galaxy S phone now slides very easily in/out of the display area; it is really designed for an IPhone, and I imagine if I had something of that form factor it would have fit perfectly from the beginning.

I bought this for a ride that required a LOT of climbing and everytime I got out of my seat to climb, my knees hit the bag - not good. BUT, because the velcro straps allow for versatility, I moved it under my seat during my first rest stop and that's where it's been ever since. I like the size for longer rides & keeping my phone separated from tools/food.

I really like this bag. It has more than enough room for EVERYTHING you would want to take along on a long ride. I also really like the cell phone pocket on top and my iPhone fits in there even with a case. It's just a REALLY big bag....too big for me. I wish it were narrower and not quite so long. I wish Timbuk2 would make a smaller version.

I decided to rate this bag after having it on continuously for the last 6 months. I was really surprised that the raters before me said it was too big. They know the product that they got and how it relates to their bike and their needs so I'm not bagging on anyone.

I have found it to be the ideal "junk drawer" for trips. I do climb out of the saddle, no problem. Steering is not a problem, it doesn't shift or bind. I don't even notice it. The cell phone compartment fits my phone nicely. It takes a second to get to it when it rings but it's not a problem. The only down side I found was that the zipper was stiff. This resolved itself with a little use

The pouch holds an energy bar, my wallet, keys and not much else. It's a perfect addition that works whether I'm touring or training.

I really like this bag and would certainly recommend it for a variety of bikers

It is a little smaller than it seemed in all the pics and my Samsung S2 does not fit in the clear phone pocket on the outside.
Don't expect anything larger than an iphone to fit.
Other than that this is the type of quality, stylish gear that I would expect from this brand.

I really like this bike bag.. fits my iPhone 5 (I was thinking it'd only fit the 4) with no problems without a case. If I have a case on it then it's a no go. My only complaint is that the front top velco loop won't fit on my bike. I assume that my 29 inch bike is the reason, not the bag. It stays on fine though, so I'd recommend this bag. If you don't have an iPhone and have a larger Android phone I think your probably going to be out of luck. Touch screen works fine unless you are covered with sweat, but you should expect that.

first off, the bag is excellent quality and pretty weather proof. in that regard, the bag is perfect. However, I have an iphone 4s with a life proof case(a thin protective case, not bulky at all) and I have to struggle to get the phone into the phone compartment. Once the phone is in you can use all functions through the plastic cover of the bag. Very functional. The phone compartment does not close shut so if I get caught riding in the rain the phone will definitely get wet unless i put it in the main compartment. Not too much of a concern for me because i have the life proof case as I said. This bag will not accommodate many popular smart phones of today. I can't imagine people getting those samsung phones to fit in this thing and forget about an iphone 5. if you have no case on your iphone it will go in but as i said, the compartment doesn't seal closed so if it rains your phone will get wet. not to mention, god forbid you fall, which does happen, the phone might come out. basically, as a storage bag, perfect, but if you'd be getting it for the phone feature make sure your phone is not larger than a 4s with a thin case.
