The Timbuk2 Swig Mavericks 100% Dry Laptop Backpack is water resistant, has great colors, and a real laptop sleeve. If that is ALL you want, then fine. If you want a pocket, just a single measly pocket, you are out of luck, friend. Want any tough or durable layers underneath the waterproof layer, well, sorry. This is not a packback as much as a very minimal shell. You pay for the brandname too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, September 6, 2011
This review is from: Timbuk2 Swig Mavericks 100% Dry Laptop Backpack (Sports)
Spent two weeks traveling in Norway and only used this bag with small bag separates inside for personal care items, socks, laundry etc. Comfortable with ample storage for pants, shirts and one pair of extra shoes. Easy to handle on trains planes and buses. Easy access to laptop pocket. Seems durable and well made.

4.0 out of 5 stars A perfect waterproof backpack, July 22, 2010

I bought this backpack to haul my laptop and work on the Metro. Additionally, I frequently get caught in thunderstorms, so a waterproof backpack comes in handy. The only slight negative is the lack of organizers other than the laptop compartment. I remedied that issue with a pencil/pen case. Otherwise, an excellent backpack.
