5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Album, January 30, 2003

For whatever reason, Christian radio stations do not often play old Clay Crosse songs. This is really a shame, because his music is introspective, soothing, and very, very good.

The songs on this album can be broken down into two main themes. The first theme is about God's love ("His Love's Comin Over Me," "His Love is Strong," "Love From the Sweetest Cup," and "God is Love"). The second theme is about our love for God ("I Found Myself in You," "I Turn to You," and "Given My Love"). These two themes compliment each other very well, since our love for God comes from God's love for us.

As good as all the songs are in this album, I do have two favorites. "Time To Believe" is a reminder that when we are going through a difficult time, when there doesn't appear to be any way out for us, it is time to believe in the One who loves us. We often try to find our own way out of our problems, and this song reminds us that we don't have to. We just have to believe.

My favorite song is "The Rock (That Was Rolled Away)." This song is a reminder that we need to make Jesus Christ the cornerstone of our faith.

This is a great album to buy and enjoy for years to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars An oldie but goodie, September 3, 1999
This review is from: Time to Believe (Audio CD)
This was one of the first CDs I bought when I got born again. I was a rocker, but I had no idea there was Christian rock. I thought Clay Crosse was as rockin' as Christians got. (I know better now!) Yet, I keep coming back to this CD. Sure, I like to rock most of the time, but there's something about this disc that just keeps calling me back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, December 14, 2000
This review is from: Time to Believe (Audio CD)
This was my first Clay Crosse CD, and the one I keep coming back to. This man has been blessed with an incredible voice and powerful range. I much prefer the balanced mix on this CD over the rockier "Stained Glass" recording.

5.0 out of 5 stars I keep picking this one back up!, August 6, 1999

Although this was one of the first CDs I ever started out with, I keep coming back to it, especially "His Love is Comin' Over Me." It's just a great CD, and Clay is as dynamic in person as his music is. Keep it up, buddy!

Clay Crosse is no stranger to the Contemporary Christian community. He's produced a wide variety of songs, but this one hits home..always. It's simply a grand variety, worship, praise, gospel, and Contemporary, from the gold old days of Christian Contemporary music. The best hits on the album would have to include 'The Rock That was Rolled Away', 'I Found Myself in You', and 'His Love's Comin' Over Me'.

If you like Clay Crosse, then this album belongs in your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear a place in your CD collection for this one!!!, January 25, 1999
This review is from: Time to Believe (Audio CD)
Clay Crosse is an exceptional young vocalist that proves his God-given talent through "Time to Believe." All three of his CDs are a must have, especially "Time to Believe." This CD is packed with faith and prayer that will bless you dearly. You will be shown God's grace and mercy through His Son's death on the cross and will motivate you to help touch this world. It will encourage and lift you in your walk with Jesus Christ.... this masterpiece has touched my heart time and time again. Remember, it's "TIME TO BELIEVE!!!"
