Time Crisis 3- Perfect For Any GUNCON fan!,
By
This review is from: Time Crisis 3 (Video Game)
Okay, let me just start off by saying that this game ROCKS! If you are a fan of any Time Crisis game (And many people are), then I would get this game sooner than later.Gameplay: 5/5- Graphics: 4/5- Multiplayer: 2/5- Replay Value: 3/5- Well, that's it. In addition to this, I recommend Time Crisis 2. If you don't own a GUNCON2 (You need #2 to play this game), then I suggest getting one from the Time Crisis 3 + GUNCON2 package. Well there you have it. My review of Time Crisis 3.

Time Crisis 3 is the King of light gun shooters!,

This review is from: Time Crisis 3 (Video Game)
Let me just start off saying that this game is one of the most addictive action games out to date! And I'd also say this is the best Light Gun to date next to the awesome Point Blank series. The game uses the excellent light gun "Guncon 2", which adds to the fun and addictveness of the game. You can now, in "Time Crisis 3", select between 4 diffrent weapons which adds even more to an already great game. Do yourself a favor, if you want an action game that uses a light gun instead of a controller, this should be your top pick! Althought the game is fairly short, there are many unlockables to get, and it is just plain fun to play over and over again. Get two Guncon 2's and you're in two player light gun shooting heaven! Just be sure to get two seperate TV's and an i-link so you each can see what you're shooting better. If you are a fan of Light Gun games, this game is above your expectations, but if you're not a light gun gaming fan, this game might just change your mind! A must have in your PS2 collection with the Guncon 2!

Best Game Ever,
By A Customer

The kid who can't shoot on the sides of his TV - Get a flatscreen TV. It works better. I have a 24" flatscreen TV in my basement and it works perfectly. I have 1 thing to say about this game - Buy it!!!! It's the best game ever! But don't touch it if you don't have a GUNCON2. Get the package for $60 Great Deal considering the game costs $50 on its own. Awesome with the GUNCON2! Its short though but I still found it very difficult to beat the whole thing on story mode... Then there's multiplayer(I don't really like multiplayer that much because it's kinda weird to have a split-screen while using a GUNCON2. I think it's better to play the one-player mode and just swich off with your friends) and another mode that you are a lady and can use a sniper rifle.Overall Stuff Gameplay 5/5 - soooooooooo fun! great for guests Multiplayer 2/5 - dunno, some poeple like it Replay value 4/5 - too short, but it's fun to keep playing it over again, you can still play the other modes Graphics 4/5 - good graphics Designers of this game: make another time crisis game, and make it longer!!! That would make it perfect

Best gun game ever with guncon2!,

The gameplay is ossum. Many unique opponents come out including bonus givers, machine gunners and other cool infantry. The best thing of the game is the new "Weapon Select" system. The other former games only had handgun, but now there are machine guns, shotguns, grenade launchers and many other unique weapons. The new Alicia scenario solves the mysteries that were not solved in the arcade mode. There are two new things about Alicia scenario. First, is the sniper rifle. You can only use this gun in special missions. Second, the weapon level. Every time you shoot an enemy, the gauge goes up and when the gauge is full, you level up. If you level up, your weapon's maximum capacity, range and power goes up. For example maching gun1 only shoots 4 bulets at a time and has Max 100 bullets. Machine gun2 shoots 7 at a time and has around 130 and Machine gun 3 shoots unlimited until you run out of the clip Max is about 150-170. Shotgun has increased power and range. For example, Shot Gun1 shoots 3 areas and has 20 bullets at its max. Shot gun 2 shoots 4 areas and has 24 bullets and so on. The maximum level you can get to for all weapons is level 5. The handgun and sniper rifle doesn't have the level system. You also get another full clip of ammo if you level up. The graphics are pretty dissapointing. It is barely better than Time Crisis 2. You should have a Guncon2 since it is hard to enjoy this game with a Dualshock controller. Final rating: Graphics 2/5 Sound 4/5 Movies 4/5

The time crisis series is in my opinion one of the most underated game series of all time. Sure its a little on the short side ( A day and you'll have beaten the game throught once) but it has an enourmous amount of replay value. Not only is there the arcade mode but you can also unlock a variety of different crisis and timed missions not found at the arcade. Once you've unlocked and beaten all of the levels its time to replay them and beat your old times. The only negative is the split screen mode is hard to see your screen even with my 50 inch. Also if you have a projection screen or lcd tv save your money as the guncon does not work with those televisions and the games is only o.k without the guncons arcade experience.

A Grand Achievement,

Once again, Namco has produced a very successful installment into the beloved series of Time Crisis. This installment produces MAXIMUM fun, and in my opinion, is the best out of the three. This game includes Arcade mode, Rescue mission, Crisis missions, sniper combat, The weapon select system, and Multiplayer. I will explain all of those later on. Now, onward to the review....STORY 7/10 This is the best story any of the Time Crisis games could offer. Usually, the story is pretty linear and retarded, but now the story has some twists. for example, on rescue mission mode is based around the character Alicia, who is on a mission to rescue her brother. Along the way, Alicia runs into one of her brothers comrades, which to my actual surprise, pulled a gun onto Alicia. The actual plot is that two of V.S.S.E's best officers were sent into the once-peaceful town of Astigos to stop the Zagorian forces from launcing tactical missiles towards Lukano. Along the way, they meet up with Alicia, the sister of a leader of the lukano troops, who joined up with them to rescue her brother. Enough of this though... SOUND AND MUSIC 9/10 This is the best music i have ever heard on any of the Time Crisis games. It is VERY catchy, and will force you to pause the game and listen to it. There is a problem with the music however. During the cutscenes, the music is so irritating that i want to bash the skull of whoever made that music, as it is very lame, not catchy, and makes me want to vomit. As usual, the Sound is top-notch on this game, as the gunshots sound like gunshots, and the enemies grunt and scream when you shoot them. Helicopters sound real, you can hear the engine in the jeeps, and so on. GAMEPLAY 10/10 The most fun light-gun shooting game available. this game portrays many challenges, such as helicopters, enemies shooting from jeeps, or the flamethrower enemies (ohhh those guys piss me off). A VERY fun and challenging item that they added onto this game are shields for the enemies. what I am talking about is that it doesnt take one shot to kill one enemy, but certain enemies have to be shot about 5 times to kill, making the game longer and more enjoyable. Another add-on that Namco produced was the weapon-select system. this system allows you to choose from four different weapons: The Handgun (unlimited), Machine Gun, Shotgun, and Grenade launcher(last three are limited). In order to receive more ammunition for the limited guns, you have to search and destroy certain yellow-armored soldiers. This new select system is very fun, and if for some reason you get angry at this one section, you can just shoot a grenade at all of the enemies, making you happier, and clearing that area. The one thing that I think that Namco should have left on from Time Crisis 2 is the double-gun mode....That mode was superfun. Namco created more Crisis missions, even harder and even more than before. Also, after you beat Arcade mode, you unlock a mode called the rescue mission mode, where you play as Alicia on her way to rescuing her brother. along the way, you can play a new feature: Sniper combat, which is pretty fun. GRAPHICS 10/10 top-notch. that all I have to say REPLAY VALUE 10/10 I, myself, play this game many times over again, as it is a very nice challenge with lots of fun in it. I recommend you buy this game with a guncon 2 (about 60 dollars. I know it is expensive, but you'll get over it)

Extremely fun and addicting experience in every way. I love this game and it is one of my all time favorites. If I only knew how great this game really was I would have purchased it years ago. Very hard not to think about this game, it is just so awesome. This is one fantastic memory that I will never forget. I highly recommend this wonderful gem in gaming history.

This game is one reason why I keep a CTR TV. Time Crisis 3 is a visually stunning and fun game. But let me start with the down side:
- In 2-player mode, the split-screen is very small. - To play 2-player on 2 separate TVs you need the old i-link which means 2 older fat PS2s and Firewire cable as well as another CTR TV. Now to the Positives: - This draws you in from the very begining and will taunt and pick you apart, urging you to try again if you don't get too far. I never played this in the arcade but I can only imagine what fun it is! - The Guncon 2 gets full use in this title and for those used to aiming off screen to reload, you got problems! The C button on the GC2 is the cover/reload/weapon select. - The sounds, gun fire and explosions are crisp and satisfying. - Im not too much of a graphics gamer but the scenary and effects are what you would expect from the best of PS2. I can't say much more about this game because I haven't gotten past stage 3 yet but this truly is a fun filled game and well worth the money.

The BEST Virtual Video Game EVER!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Time Crisis 3 (Video Game)
Time Crisis 3 is the BEST virtual video game I have EVER played! It makes me feel like I'm actually the person shooting. It comes with one of the best light guns ever, called GunCon2, which is very easy to hook up. It's a challenging game that tests your first-person shooting skills. There are 3 different game modes. The 1st one is Arcade Mode, which is the mode that is available at the beginning at the game. You play as Alan Dunaway or Wesley Lambert (Depending on which USB Port you plugged the GunCon2 into your Playstation 2). The 2nd game mode is Rescue Mission Mode, where you play as Alicia Winston. The objective is the same. You just play from a different perspective and the missions are a little different. The last game mode is Crisis Mission Mode, which is training missions where you must fulfill a certain objective, such as defeating a certain amount of enemies or scoring a certain amount of points. You can also change the difficulty setting for every mode except Crisis.
