In part they have succeeded as hit single 'If There's Any Justice' demonstrates. With an edgier vocal, there's a surreal version of The Darkness rock anthem 'I Believe In Love' which shouldn't work but does! Sony. 2005. --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.

I don't know how cute this guy is (I really don't care), I don't know how good this guy can dance (I simply don't care). The only thing I can say for certain is this guy has a voice that is pure silk. He is already a hit in the UK, so now it is time for the US to wake up and embrace this young British talent. A voice like his can not (and should not) be ignored by radio, or the public. Every song on this CD is a treat...so definitely check it out.

This is what i wish r&b radio would play more of! Lemar has a great voice...good songs, good lyrics. The first 7 songs hooked me and i will indeed play this a lot. Favorites: Soulman, What If, Call me Daddy, Don't Give Up, If There's any Justice......I will suggest this cd to all my "music loving" friends. Hey dj's, wake up and play some of the "other" artists like this and not what the program director put on your list!

i owned a copy of lemar's time to grow and i listened to it everyday until a friend of mine took it and got hooked and didnt return it, i think it is a wonderful album and lemar's voice is awesome. yes its true that he reminds you of seal in a way but i believe that his style is totally differnet and in the end you really cant compare both of them. i think lemar still has a lot of "time to grow" and he can only get better. all he needs is to be discovered by the u.s audience and he's on a roll!
