"A Time For Heroes" by Brother Andrew stresses the need for real heroes, especially in a day when "leaders" fall morally and otherwise in politics, sports, ministry, business, and etc.The author uses examples from the Bible to illustrate who true leaders and heroes were: 1. Jesus Christ 2. Moses 3. Gideon 4. David 5. Jonah 6. Daniel 7. Nehemiah 8. Paul Throughout the book Brother Andres shares experiences of his encounters with unsung heroes throughout the world, especially those who share the Gospel and serve others in countries where Christians are persecuted. A good and challenging read. Recommended. |
