I bought several of these biographies for my sixth graders, and they have enjoyed them. They are a quick read about important people from our history. They are just the right size for the chalk tray so they are constantly visible and easily accessible to the kids to pick up when they have a few spare minutes. The format and photos appeal to the kids as well as the topics.

I am very impressed with the "Time For Kids" series. I like how they bring biographical and non-fiction information to young children at a level that is appropriate for them to understand. The photos are great and they cover a wide variety of topics. I bought quite a number of them for my classroom.
