I've gotten this book for my children for the past several years, but my husband and I read it as well. Easy enough for younger children to read, but interesting for all ages. It has some fun and interesting facts that we end up quoting.

My son had the 2007 Time for Kids Almanac and absolutely loved it and feels the same about this one. It is very informative and has wonderful pictures. It has information on many different topics. He loves it!!! Thanks.

My grandson who is five, just loves this book. He loves the various world facts and statistics, he is leaning but doesn't realize it. Highly recommended for all ages! Grandpa even enjoys it! Cheap price for the benefit you receive from it!

I got this for my nephew for Christmas. He loves it. Very interesting and short facts that he can read at his own pace. Mom loves reading with him as well. Takes it with him, even to school, and when he has a few "free" minutes, he pulls it out and reads. He skips around which is another plus. Does not have to be read like a book

I bought the Times for Kids Almanac 2005 as a Christmas gift for my nephew who was 9 years old at the time. His mom said he was so excited to have the book and couldn't put it down. Since then, I get him Times for Kids Almanac for him every year for Christmas. He is just as excited to receive this year's book. I quickly flipped through the book and learned some interesting facts myself. As long as he doesn't outgrow this series, I will keep getting it. Makes Christmas shopping easy for a pre-teen boy.

Every year I await the new version of this book. My mom and I love it. I've learned so much and take it to school -- it is a hit! I am called "professor" because I wear glasses and know so many facts outside of our class. (i am in 5th grade). I guess I will be a geek someday. My favorite parts are history and the social sciences and everything to do with science and discoveries.
