Beautiful pictures, fun first non-fiction book
My daughter enjoys all the Science Scoop books. She loves non-fiction as she likes to read about "real things" as often as "make believe." If you read TIME magazine, you know the quality of their material. The pictures are museum level (if I only had a dime for every, "Mama, you need to come see this!"), the writing simple yet informative, and the subjects are all...

My daughter enjoys all the Science Scoop books. She loves non-fiction as she likes to read about "real things" as often as "make believe." If you read TIME magazine, you know the quality of their material. The pictures are museum level (if I only had a dime for every, "Mama, you need to come see this!"), the writing simple yet informative, and the subjects are all kidcentric. Of course, as a big kid, I've leared a lot from these books as well!
