I bought this book for my 9 year old who loves facts and history. She reads it over and over again. It's a great fun fact book and the whole family enjoyed it!

I liked that this book teaches you what people did in other states and do now. This book tells you what happened in the past so kids can know about the culture and learn the 50 states. I think that kids should always learn new things every day. So i recommend this book to all kids that can get it.

I needed this book to complete our curriculum for this year (we are home schoolers). The book came as listed, in good condition. I would order from this company again.

Last week my son brought home this book from school about the states. I was really excited to read this book with him, because I know he's learning about states in his kindergarten class.

We looked at Kansas, because we live there. Next, we looked at Arizona as we have family that live there. Both of these states have an error on their profile page. These are just the two I've found:
* Pg 41 - 1961 should read 1861 (in the header).
* Pg 55 - Scottsdale should read Show Low (within the map): Scottsdale is actually a suburb of Phoenix.

I did not look at the rest of the book with him, so I do not know if there are further errors or not. In my opinion, these errors are glaringly obvious (not buried deep within the text). I'm disappointed in not only the quality of work from the copy editor, but also that the publisher would put the book in circulation.

I do not mean to come off as rude or overly concerned; again I just find it odd that TIME for Kids as well as HarperCollins would publish a book with errors.
