It's really fun, but there's a little bit of confusion in the beginning. There's a lot of adventure and creativity. There's fighting and good description. It's a good book for kids 8 and up to read. It's pretty easy to read, but hard to follow all the strange names of people and places in the beginning. -J (9) and Dad
