To me,Matt Monro is the greatest singer/vocalist of all time.I fell in love with his voice ever since the first time I heard his song.Matt has a unique kind of voice that no one has.His songs/credits like I Will Wait For You,On Days Like These,Fly Me To the Moon are just a few heart-breakers that sure will melt the iceberg!Matt's emotional,expressive voice would make me spent countless hours of listening pleasure.There never was anyone as good as Matt and never will be.

Matt Monro (1930-1985) was Britain's musical gift to America in the 1960s and 1970s. He sings 24 of the timeless love ballads of that era. His rendition of And We Were Lovers from the movie "Sand Pebbles" is worth the price of admission. This CD stimulates memories from the past.
