Must read for design students and professionals,

An extremely lucid and entertaining manual on a subject that can be tedious. Humorously illustrated by the author, it includes a good summary of pitfalls in the design process. This book can go a long towards meeting design deadlines, while still having a life outside the design studio.

This is a GREAT book-- if you are an architect or just ADD this is terrific tool-- the exercises are difficult, but worth doing, and his descriptions of the difference between "tame" and "wicked" problems--and how to approach each, is very helpful--I wish I had read it as I struggled through graduate school doing all-nighters and never having finished products.

If I were a student still in architecture school this book may have been useful. However, to a professional this book has little to offer.
