Time Out Shortlist Rome
I liked the layout of this book better than some other guides we ordered for Rome. The format seems easier to use than the DK guide.

Handy little guide book
Like all Time Outs, it gives you the basic info you need to know, and this pocket guide is easy to keep in your bag or pocket (big pocket). The maps are not in detail enough to get around in the tiny streets of Rome, but you can get a free map of Rome nearly everywhere there anyway. Overall, good book
