Enyas Watermark + Mars Lasars Eleventh Hour= Time Passengers, December 29, 2001
This review is from: Time Passengers (Audio CD)
I bought this album primarily for the song Eternal after hearing the Earthtone Collection CD but what I got instead was probably some of the best New Age music that I have ever listened to. This album is diverse in sound with some romantic pop-oriented songs and some dark sonic oriented songs. To put it this way this album is like a story to me. This album is like the incredible Watermark by enya meets the sonic space oriented Eleventh Hour by Mars Lasar. World Of Wonders is a beautiful pop-oriented song with beautiful vocals. This song is very playful and brings up images of two lovers running along a flower covered landscape with the sun shining. Don't be fooled by this song because while this song is bright and playfl the rest of the album is dark. Skies Above Loveland is an electronic piece with some classical influences, electronic keyboards, acoustic and stunning vocals. Euphoria is an upbeat song with beautiful vocals and some Gothic chants. This song is another bright song. The Miracle Of Moona is radiant. It's dark mournful with ambient keyboards, and even has some Native American chants. This song is absolutely breathtaking. There are some violins in the middle of the song with some sonic sounds in the background. Eternal is the one that made me buy this album. It starts off with the sound of children playing in the back ground. Then some ambient keyboards, and then the beats fade in. The vocals are among the best on this album. This song is very ambient with the almost danceable beat. Fairyland is probably the last upbeat song in this album. The trumpet and acoustic guitars are amazing. This song maorphs into a very upbeat song. After this song the album becomes dark and stormy. History Of The Sandman is a very dark song with electronic keyboards, stunning violins and Gregorian chants. The title track is completely opposite to World Of Wonders. It's probably the darkest track in this album. It's very dark, ambient, ominous, electronic with blips and chants that sort of remind me a bit of Enya. I could play this song when riding in the car when it's like late at dusk or early at dusk when it's raining or stormy outside. Give this song a listen. It's absolutely breathtaking. Sleep is the one that established this album as my favorite New Age album of the 1990s. This song is almost as dark as Time Passengers but with cellos, electronic keyboards, and chants that strongly remind me of Enya. This song is sort of like a dark, stormy version of Enya Orinoco Flow but this song beats Orinoco by a wide margin. Fans of Orinoco Flow should listen to this song. Rain Temple is a dark, creepy song with mostly ambient synths and church organs with water dripping in the background. This song is absolutely amazing. Minuit brings this stunning album to a mournful slose. It starts off with air traffic control radio and electronic blips. The keyboards eventually fade in and pretty much are what play throughout the song accompinied with some violins. This song is very stormy. This song is a great closer to this masterpiece. This has got to be the greatest New Age album I,ve ever listened to. Not even Enya could match the power of this album. Why this album went by unnoticed is beyond me because this shatters new ground in New Age. I strongly recommend New Age lover to get this CD. It's absolutely stunning, magical and breathtaking.

Must buy! Absolutely brialliant!, November 28, 2002
This review is from: Time Passengers (Audio CD)
"Time Passengers" is indeed a brilliant album! It features very nice and soothing female vocals (credit goes to Cora O'Donovan from Ireland), with very melodic rhythm, plus great and rich music + vocal arrangement. I have started to fall in love with Cora's Enya-alike vocals when I first heard of their latest project called Elysia, which consists of the original F.R.E.U.D. members, plus a new male member Aliterza Sanatjou who is the "male version" of Cora O'Donovan. His voice is very soothing and attractive. The title of Elysia's debut stunning new age album is called "Spirit Of The Sun", which feature the best track named "Elysium", featuring Cora's best vocals performance ever! Very melodic, ambient music arrangement, accompanied by very nice Spanish guitar! You can simply melt when you listen to this track! This album is released in Europe and Asia (Singapore). So for all F.R.E.U.D or new age fans, ...- the new F.R.E.U.D project!!! From the "Time Passengers" album , I love "Sleep" the most!!! A very outstanding song! ...
