Excellent Book!!,

My dad introduced me to Poul Anderson with this book a few years ago. I absolutely love his character, Manse Everard. His whole attitude towards everything throughout the book is great, and it also gives you a sense of history because Manse is traveling around to different times chasing bad guys who want to change the future.

Time Patrolman, not surprisingly, has more stories of Poul Anderson's Time Patrol and Everard Manse. Not good ones here, though.
Included in this book are : IVORY, AND APES, AND PEACOCKS THE SORROW OF ODIN THE GOTH These stories do some jumping around in time, each part having sub-headings that indicate what year that the story is currently taking place in. Everard the Unattached in Tyre and South America with Bolivar. 3 out of 5 Interspersed interview. 3 out of 5 |
