A Time for Peace is for all who are seeking to live more productive, loving, spiritual lives. Daily meditations are based on verses from Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. A Time for Peace gives to readers a moment of peace in the day and wisdom for a lifetime of days spent walking in God's shalom.

Review

"I heartily recommend this book to all recovering people. Mary Nilsen's loving embrace of the Bible can only uplift and enhance each of us on our journeys. She helps make Scripture and recovery 'Trees of Life.' Congratulations to her and to all who grow from this work."
Rabbi Susan B. Stone, author of The Twelve Steps and Jewish Tradition

"A profound gift to people of God, A Time for Peace is one of those rare meditation books that respects, challenges, and sustains readers. Steeped in wisdom from the Twelve Steps, Nilsen offers a literary work of art--welcome refreshment for all who journey in God's shalom."
Pastor Ann Svennungsen, Minneapolis, Minnesota
