What I like about my brother's book, November 5, 2008
This review is from: Time Pool: The Amazing Adventures of Eddie Dowd (Paperback)
I liked hearing about the Guale tribe that used to live along the coast of GA and FL through Eddie Dowd's dreams and adventures. He had a link through the Time Pool with the tribe. So interesting what the huge black snake Mico was thinking over the ages, and how the porpoises flash to one another, and the instincts of the big bull shark. I loved getting to the italics where the animals point of view were expressed. Hearing how the the islands used to look and Eddie's ride on the giant turtle to win the race, and when the British came and tried to put down the patriots and how the patriots captured the ammunition ship is exciting! The fact that the beautiful tall people of the Guale tribe are not here now is sad. I can't wait for the second volume about the Land Bandits!
