time rambler, November 5, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Time Rambler (Harlequin American Romance) (Paperback)
This is a decent rainy day time travel romance. The hero is the ghost of a former lawman ,who died in the line of duty. He is doomed to exist unseen, in the ghost town where he once lived. Tormented by his failure to prevent the murders of his friends, he expects to spend eternity in this lonely existence.
The heroine is a modern woman who visits the ghost town and is the first person with whom the ghost can communicate. They fall in love and travel back in time, where they hope to be able to rewrite history.
The characters are appealing and the book is well written. This is not "War and Peace" but it is exactly what it purports to be-an exceptionlly good series romance. I only wish I hadn't loaned and lost my copy; it is a "keeper".
