Every time I hear this Great work,

I tear up as though I am chopping onions.

I am too old to do that.

A most hauntingly beautiful song, sung by a great artist. Only wish I could have the lyrics in English. Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli, the best classical Italian singers in this era. Need English version please !!!

I've never said this about anything after innumerable reviews: if you ever buy anything, that's anything, then you must buy this music. It is perfection personified. The intonation, enunciation, orchestration, arrangement, and execution of the music is just a form (the Greek term for a flawless concept, idea, or ideal.)
The piece itself sounds operatic from the golden age of Opera and classical music, yet it is contemporary, written in the 20th century, not the 18th.

The music alone is so beautiful that it just flows over you and then the Italian lyrics and the fantastic voices of Brightman and Bocelli complete the romantic picture of two lovers leaving behind, saying goodbye, to the past and committing a future to each other. If this piece doesn't touch you soul, you don't have one!
