This is the second Time Timer Watch Plus Youth I bought. The first one came from the Time Timer official web site, and didn't work properly. It was $50 with free shipping. When I contacted them, they told me it would take 4-6 weeks for a replacement and I couldn't wait. I was also disturbed by the warranty stamped on the bezel. It stated "5 year limited warranty from June 2008"! So it's 2 1/2 years old? Also, the free battery that was included seemed to invite me to void the warranty by tampering with the watch. I called the 800 number listed on the watch and got a company that no longer sells them. I sent it back with the free label they provided and they gratuitously sent me a free time timer as a consolation prize, which I thought was pretty classy of them. I still needed one soon since my daughter had started school and her teacher had suggested she would benefit from one. I ordered one from Amazon and payed extra to ship it express for a grand total of $70. When it arrived it had the same warranty written on the bezel but at least had an accompanying written warranty and directions which the first one didn't. Now to my review. The watch is just a digital watch with an unusual timer display that is made in China. The plastic band is an integral part of the watch, sure to break, and can not be replaced. While it may be way over-priced, I am unaware of any-thing like it out there and it seems to help my daughter with the concept of past, present and future. I reluctantly give it a thumbs up.
