Flash Gordon: The Time Trap of Ming XIII, July 11, 2009
This review is from: The Time Trap of Ming XIII: Flash Gordon #4 (Paperback)
This is the fourth novel in the Flash Gordon series by Alex Raymond. In this novel, Flash Gordon and Dale Arden are on the planet Mongo to meet Prince Barin and Dr. Hans Zarkov at Barin's Forest Kingdom. On the way, they encounter two strange men. Flash tries to catch them because they shot the car they were driving, but they disappear and leave Flash and Dale puzzled over what happened. The two men are henchmen, sent in the Tempendulum, a machine that can transport people backward and forward through generations of time. Who sent them? None other than Ming the XIII. Ming the XIII is out to change history by sending his henchmen back in time to kill Flash and Prince Barin. Ming's henchmen change up history, but Flash just makes history again. This is another great science fiction/ fantasy novel with adventure and action mixed in it. This novel is easy to read and recommend this novel to anyone. Unlike the second and third Flash Gordon novels, you need to read to the first Flash Gordon novel to have a better understanding of this novel. I found this novel to be great read and I really enjoyed reading it. I hope you have found my review helpful in some way. I enjoyed writing this review.
