Book Description

A Time Travel Romance - Medieval Love: Reunited by Dagger Heart Spell (Time Travel, Time Travel Romance, Fantasy Historical, Romance Fantasy, Medieval Romance, Medieval Love, Medieval Romance English Knight, Time Travel Books, Medieval Romance Books, Time Travel Romance Historical, Time Travel Romance Medieval)

In this romance fantasy, Elise is a present day, high-priced career thief, whose services are sought by the wealthy and anonymous around the globe, and are commissioned through her mysterious employer Mr. Smith. The latest assignment presented to Elise from Mr. Smith, is the request to retrieve a man's heart. Once this alarming revelation is disclosed, Elise has serious reservations about her employer and declines the assignment. That is until her employer, Mr. Smith, assures her that it is not for the retrieval of an actual human heart, and that the assignment pays a generous commission fee of two million dollars.

Against her better judgement and intuition, Elise accepts the assignment, and finds herself suddenly wrapped up in a bizarre set of circumstances. Elise questions both her sanity, as well as whether or not her mysterious employer Mr. Smith has set her up to participate against her will in some strange time travel fantasy of a delusional group of individuals.

The assignment goes terribly wrong, and Elise finds herself being held captive by a pair who act as if they are living in a different era, and feed her a historical fantasy dating back one thousand years ago, that they are convinced Elise was a part of. Elise begins to question whether she is being fed mind-altering drugs during her captivity in order to play along with the pair's outlandish time travel scheme, until a series of incidents start to trigger an overwhelming feeling of deja vu.

With two failed escape attempts, Elise is mentally frustrated and physically weakened, and to make matters worse, she finds herself strangely drawn to her captor Mr. Andris Blackstone, the very same man who had commissioned her services through her employer Mr. Smith.

Desperate to be released, Elise makes a deal with Mr. Andris Blackstone. His request is simple, and if Elise complies, he will allow her to leave, along with the full two million dollars she was promised for the assignment. Things don't go quite as Elise had planned however, when a memory from one thousand years ago is suddenly returned to her, along with something else she certainly wasn't expecting. A return of something so sacred, it took the clandestine efforts of those she knew in a previous lifetime to fulfill.

5.0 out of 5 stars Romantic Short Story--Good Read! March 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
"Medieval Love: Reunited by Dagger Heart Spell" is an enjoyable, romantic short story. When Elise is hired by the mysterious Mr. Smith to steal a silver box from a manor estate, she's skeptical--$2 million dollars as payment seems too good to be true. But Elise is a professional thief, skilled at her "work," and she decides to take the job.

The manor looks like something from another era--a gothic castle--and it does hold some surprises in store for her, most notably the handsome owner, who takes her prisoner after catching her trying to steal his precious silver box. I won't ruin the twists of this delightful little story by giving away any more of the plot, but I will say it will be a great read for romance lovers, especially fans of novels like "Outlander." Elise is a strong-willed and interesting female lead, and Andris Blackstone is appropriately brooding, handsome, and lordly.

"Medieval Love" is a good blend of time travel, magic, romance, and suspense, and readers will probably wish it were longer so they can get to know its characters better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming and Fun! March 20, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Carve out a quiet afternoon before you sit down to read this book because you won't want to get up until you've finished it.

Elise is a sassy, accomplished thief by profession who receives a rather unusual job offer... stealing a man's heart. Not exactly the physical heart of Mr. Blackstone, but his precious silver box in exchange for two million dollars. Of course, she can't pass such an offer and quickly finds herself slinking around an ornate mansion with night-vision goggles and various spy tools. She thinks the job is too easy, and of course she turns out to be right.

I don't want to give too much of this away as it is a short novel, but it is absolutely adorable, romantic and mystical. Nina Moon succeeded in captivating my attention from beginning to end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended for fans of the Outlander series March 30, 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have a soft spot in my heart for time travel romances. The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is one of my favorites, so when a friend recommended I read Medieval Love by Nina Moon, I was up for it.

Medieval Love is the story of Elise, a professional thief in today's world. She is offered money to steal a risky item. Unsure of what she is getting into but lured by the 2 million dollar reward, she agrees to the job. She quickly finds out that this job is not typical. I do not want to give too much away, but I will say that I would compare this book favorably to the Outlander series of books.

This book is full of romance, history and the excitement of time travel. It is well written and the characters are realistic. The only thing I was disappointed in was that Nina Moon has not written more books. I hope she remedies that soon and releases more books soon. She is one that I intend to watch for in the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't Wait for the Entire Series April 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This fascinating book passed my requirements for a romance novel - must have a real plot, and must have a legitimately interesting character.

The plot, well - this book has plot for days! There are twists and turns and time travel back into the deepest recesses of our heroine's mind, though she doesn't quite know if they're real or just a strange reaction from being drugged.

Character development is truly wonderful - the danger of Elise's career mixes with her vulnerability once imprisioned by the dashing Mr. Blackstone.

Mr. Blackstone is the kind of man you fall for in these type of books; handsome, powerful, and a little mysterious.

The plot twists - I won't spoil them here, they're worth buying the book for - are what truly set this book apart from its contemporaries.

I'd very much like to read an entire series in this line and hope that the author is ready to keep writing them - I'll be reading them as fast as they come out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great plot, great writing, small price, MUST READ! March 18, 2013

I love time travel romance and anything medieval so when I saw Medieval Love I scooped it right up!
Once I started reading though I realized this was not going to be your typical *travel back in time* romance so there I sat, mesmerized, as I read totally unexpected twists and turns so when you read this book do not think you know what is going to happen next because you'll be wrong! Just sit back and relax while Nina Moon weaves her magic over your imagination.
I'm looking forward to more books by this author!

I was surprised when all of a sudden the book ended. It was only 58 pages long. The book was not free! It was a disappointing read.

It was a very short story, that might be the reason her characters did not have time to be developed.

4.0 out of 5 stars pretty good for the price
I didn't realize 90 pages would go so quickly. Nothing terribly complex about this story but it is entertaining for a couple of hours.

sorry...couldn't even finish it. Boring and not well written, in my opinion. I can't even really come up with 8 more words that are relevant to this book.
