The true story of a remarkable family's fight to survive. When rugged, young Chuck Hassan(Joe Bologna) is disabled by a massive heart attack, his wife Concetta (Patty Duke)becomes the breadwinner of the family. However, her earning capacity in the civilian job market cannot keep the Hassans off welfare. So, at age 32, Concetta joins the Army. She begins Army life as a recruit, and soon rises in rank to helicopter pilot. Meanwhile, Chuck learns to raise their daughters and make a house into a home. Two people unprepared for the challenge of a lifetime- to stay a family and to find A Time to Triumph.

We were both in flight school together..I was very impressed with the movie...I talked to her after the movie was released and she told me that it was pretty much kept in true form..very few liberties were taken to embellish the facts...a very well made movie..its one of those movies that is worth a try and one that you will want to watch more than once
