a timeless treasure,

Time Turns the Moon is a cd for all times. I catch myself listening to it again and again for the first time. By that I mean I always seem to find something new in the tremendous musicianship and the soulful vocals. It is a piece of art and beauty, a timeless treasure. Tret Fure is simply magnificient and most importantly she is REAL.

This album is simply glorious. Tret really shows her word skills are right up there with her musical skills. In "The Girls all Dance" I can just see that dance hall - heck, I was IN those halls xx years ago!! "The Working Poor" and "Against the Grain" are awesome descriptions of tough times and tough people.My suggestions ? Get "Time turns the Moon", "Terminal Hold", "Edges of the Heart" AND her latest CD, "Back Home" and your ears will bless you.

My introduction to Tret! I wore out several tapes playing them constantly and finally have this one on cd! I still listen to it and love every song!
