Book Description

April 2001
A fast-paced thrill ride through time and space where the adventures continuously bounce in and out of danger.

Timekeeper is two speculative stories about the possibility of time travel. In "Passage," the lead character, Sam, finds himself a hidden puzzle beneath the sands of the Thar Desert. Aided by his newly appointed assistant, he locates a set of mysterious dials within the bowels of a recently uncovered cave. Through an accident involving these dials, they find themselves propelled through time and space, along with two companions, unable to find their way home. Sam and his three friends encounter strange people and creatures that threaten their very lives, in their quest to solve the code of the dials. "Passage" contains danger and humour in the same breath.

In "The Journal," the second story, the main character, EJ, is a solitary figure who finds himself drawn into a mysterious web of time travellers that jaunt the future and the past as one. From his first contact with "The Rebels," he slowly unravels a plot of eventual doom that will become part of earth's destiny. As he becomes more involved in the mystery, he finds he is an integral part of the conclusion as well. EJ encounters members of his own family line in the future and meets face-to-face a manipulative Time Lord "Danus."
