When I received the unit it looked fine and I was happy with the appearance. However, that was short lasting when I found out the hour hand is not moving because it seems like its loose. So, I ended up taking it apart myself and tried to fix it but couldn't place the hour hand properly because of design flaw. The ring that attach to main mechanism is quiet loose and can't seem to hold in place. So, I had to be little creative an bend the ring a little to keep it in place. It's fixed now and working great.

I live in NY and order it with bunch of other items and had it shipped to a friend in NJ to save on taxes. As a result, it would have been costly for me to take it back to NJ and send it back to amazon and go back to NJ to get the replacement. So, in case you were wondering why didn't I do a simple replacement? Well, here is your answer.

Clock is nice with audible ticking sound. Kept stopping as the second hand was hanging up on the front clear cover, but a folded piece of paper between the movement and the clock in the back and the clock runs perfectly.

I took it out of the box, put in a battery and went to set it. The clock hands were so loose you could not set them, they just fell with gravity to the "6" like it was 6:30. Such a piece of junk. For $12, I tossed it in the trash can rather than go through the return hassle. CLASSIC CHINESE CRAP PRODUCT. I wasn't expecting much, but this was the worst product I have ever had the misfortune of buying.
