5.0 out of 5 stars Timeplapse for PC!, September 10, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Timelapse: Ancient Civilizations. . . The Link to Atlantis. (CD-ROM)
Timelapse is similar in style to Myst. The backstory is a subtle blend of well-researched fact and fictional storytelling designed to create an intriguing, thought-provoking tale that introduces and ultimately explains an alien link between the ancient civilizations of the Egyptians, Maya, Anasazi, Easter Island, and the legendary sunken lost city of Atlantis. By combining elements of archaeology, ancient/lost civilizations, ancient history, science fiction and adventure, the creators of Timelapse wanted to challenge the player to ask himself/herself, "What if this could be real? Could it have actually happened?" By locating and reading the missing professor's journal, the story slowly unfolds before the player as he/she travels from world to world and progresses further and further into the game. Each subsequent world visited by the player provides another important piece of the professor's journal."
