Wow! Babbie has done it once again! This "Timeless" treasure should definitely go down in history as one of Christian music's greatest classics, featuring songs such as "Wade In the Water" and "Play it Again." With big band swings, dazzling jazz tunes, and heart-wrenching lyrics, Babbie is certainly one of the greatest prolific writers of our day and she deserves the highest honor for these award-winning tunes. Every song is moving from beginning to end. Truthfully artistic, I'm glad to see that someone's still writing these kinds of songs!

This is so her. I agree with Mark on the previous review. This album fits her style and vocals so well. We heard a little on Carry On and Turn Right. But now this album is the whole nine yards. Grammy, Dove, Oscar, Academy, Excellence, Stellar. Just give them to her! Babbie, we're pushing for you and we love you!

This has become one of my all time favorite CDs. Trust His Heart's message is so profound. I play that particular song over and over again. The rest of the CD is wonderful!

Her version of "Wade in the Water" is worth the price alone for this disc. Most of it is big band, which fits well with her strong but mellow voice. Mason is under-rated-- so be one of the first on your block to discover her and know that the former English teacher is doing what she does for the Lord and not for fame...

I have been trying to find this CD and having no luck I tried Amazon and I'm ordering a few for gifts. Babbie is truly AMAZING, I am so moved by every song on this CD.

Generally speaking, I DO NOT LIKE big band or contemporary Christian music. If I hadn't heard Babbie sing at a conference, I would have never opened my heart to this CD. Most songs have a big band sound as the backdrop to her sassy vocals and snappy lyrics. Many songs of great comfort!! Awesome attitude with a beautiful message. One or two tracks are on the slightly sappy side (which is what I don't like about contemporary Christian music). I listen to this regularly and love it as much everytime.

Love this CD! Babbie Mason has infused the Big Band sound with her amazing Christian lyrics. It is great to listen to - and to sing along with!

Simply outstanding. Babbie Mason has put together a classic of a CD. The lyrics and orchestration are perfect compliments to Babbie's extraordinary voice. One continually expects to hear Nat King Cole and/or Ella Fitzgerald join in on several of the songs. A Christian message wrapped in the big band sound is not something one would expect. Bottom line, however, is expected or not the combination is perfect. Listen to the sample of songs [...] and you will be convinced.

She has one of those under appreciated voices that have the purest sound. Everything is awesome, but "You Have A Way With Words" speaks of God's love for us through HIS word. What an illustration of his neverending love for us!! This CD offers a pleasant change by sounding jazzy without compromising the lyrics. All I can say is...TIMELESS!!

I bought this cd when it was first released, and it is one of those that you keep pulling back out to play again. If you have an appreciation for the big band sound or the blues, you'll LOVE this cd. The songs hold deep meaning, and the delivery is superb!
