I recently purchased this video, watched it a few times & it brings back so many memories. I used to have this video as a kid & I have been wanting to see it again for a long time. It has a good story & good music as well. I still enjoy it now just as much when I was a kid. Even though this is a twenty year old video now, I'm sure the kids of today will love to watch this. The only thing is that its not available on DVD yet & I don't know if it ever will be. I also had Thumbelina & I really enjoyed that video as well.

I am a kindergarten teacher and every year,without fail, this movie becomes a class favorite. I have just purchased it for my own grandchildren. I would recommend it to everyone. I only wish they made it in DVD.

Classic tale, told very well.

If you're looking to send your children a message about being an outcast or different, about improperly judging others, about the true worth of all things, this is your movie.

I can't remember anything that I didn't really enjoy about it. And at 30 enjoyable minutes for the whole message, the kids can stay focused.

Discussing the movie afterwards is definitely a plus. Great family and values oriented movie.
