A wonderful new CD with a different sound than Phil Coulter's previous recordings. It is fascinating to hear his music evolve through the years, or maybe just replicate a style that he prefers at the time of making a recording. It is also nice that this is not just a remix of previous recordings. I own all of his recordings, and would rank this in the top three.

This is some of Coulter's best. He has a way with saying things through music that is inborn in a select few. It is, of course, excellently done with the selections being so relaxing and peaceful. Of course, that is why it has the title it does. This is an excellent way to unwind from the hectic throws of today's pace. I would recommend it to any one that enjoys good, quality music.

Quite a few year's ago I picked out one of Phil Coulter's albums to try it. The song titles sounded great. After experiencing that first one, I bought another and another, until I owned all of them. Each time I thought there was the chance I may not like the next. That has never happened! In fact each one gets better! I look forward to each new one. I hope that there is a new one soon. The DVDs are great, too.

I became a bigger fan of Phil Coulter when I found this group called Celtic Thunder. He directed the orchestra in the first video/CD and they sang some of his music. I love this CD because it's calming and yet it isn't maudlin. If you like a song you can always look up the lyrics online and pretty soon you have a full orchestra accompaniment while you sing on the interstate driving home. It's lovely and I highly recommend Timeless Tranquility!

Timeless Tranquility is a compilation of some of Phil Coulter's best instrumental pieces. I can and do listen to his music all day long and continue to be amazed by his talent.

I have the original soundrack from Local Hero, so I was interested in Coulter's rendition. All I can say is "It's powerful".
IF YOU WANT A GREAT PIECE OF MUSIC TO WAKE UP TO, PUT THIS ON YOUR WAKE UP PLAYLIST. It starts off nice and slow, just lovely, then it builds up to the last two and a half minutes of "crescendoed" brilliance. You'll be up doing a Michael Flatley impersonation in your bedroom by this stage OR imagining yourself conducting a world class orchestra. It'll put you in a fine frame of mind for the day. Great stuff!

This was purchased as a gift for someone else (who actually requested it) and she loves it!

Although I enjoy and own almost all of Phil Coulter recordings, this Timeless Tranquility-A 20 Year Celebration is so beautiful that I have chosen it to give for gifts to those music fans on my list. No thumbs down comments from recipients to date. In fact, many say it is one of their favorite selections to listen to while working at the PC, cleaning house, reading, resting, etc. I agree you won't go wrong with Phil Coulter!

I have recently discovered Phil Coulter's music and can't imagine how I've missed his creativity all these years. I have since purchased thirteen of his CD's and love all of them - this one especially. I'm totally hooked on Phis Coulter!!!

This music lives up to its title. It brings tranquility and the songs are very memorable. It is primarily piano music but many other instruments have major roles making it more interesting.
