When the Honourable Felicity Travers discovers that her late father had arranged a marriage for her, she considers this stretched duty a little too much to ask. For one thing, she is expected to marry Jarle Blakely, the man she believes to be responsible for her father's bankruptcy; and, secondly, inspired by the suffragette movement, Felicity intends to be a modern woman and make her own decisions.
