About the Author
Dr. Frank Crane (1861- 1928) was a Presbyterian minister, a speaker, and a popular columnist. Newspapers throughout the eastern United States carried his column around the turn of the century, and in 1919 he published the ten-volumes set of Four Minute Essays. He published various other works, most notably Everyday Wisdom. After his death, his words slowly faded from the public view, and today only tidbits of his works have survived as quotes scattered throughout books, speeches, and websites.
