I bought this timer for my meditation practice. This has to be the the most complicated timer that I've ever tried to use. I like that one can set different beeps, but the beep doesn't work every time...and most times it doesn't beep. The settings are not easy to use, and it took hours to read and re-read the pamphlet that came with the time. The timer is incredibly small, and the reading is difficult to see. You can't just re-set a timer. You have to re-program every time. I don't recommend this timer, especially if you meditate in a dimly lit room.

1/2 Star at best. Programming is ridiculously difficult and not at all intuitive. The buttons went intermittent after less than a month, so getting to the right menu is nearly impossible. There is no external reset button, so I've had to remove the battery and let the on-board memory drain the chips saved power completely in order to "reset" the clock. I'm replacing this timer with a Solubrion Enso.

I use this product for meditation sessions where I do different meditations at different times in my 1 hour sitting. This clock allows me to move from segment to segment by giving me a vibration at the programmed interval. It is the only product that I have found that has this functionality and flexibility. Yes, you do have to take about 30 miutes to figure out the programming but it works! I cannot speak to the beepr because I use vibration. The vibration is strong until the batteries go weak, but that takes a very long time.

Amazing Functionality: Horrendously Overcomplicated Interface,

This timer has the most functionality of any I've found--IF you can manage to program it at all--It is the most complicated timer I've seen. The buttons are tiny. The display is tiny. The back light is too dim. And good luck programming it!

I bought this product initially a couple of years ago. I wanted a straight forward timer for meditation and for reminders about other tasks I wanted to perform or bringing me back to a mindful state. In vibration mode, no one will notice that you are carrying it around. It is not quite "invisible" but small enough. I looked at other alternatives, but I finally "1-clicked" this again. We'll see how long this one lasts.
Pros: it delivers on its promised utility. Cons: my previous model gave up the ghost after two years so I'm not sure about quality. It's not sexy. But it delivers reasonably utility at an OK price.

I agree, this device is too complicated - by the time I get it going, I'm already in a bad mood.
Why can't someone offer a cheap, simple device that's sole job is to emit a pleasing tone once a minute? There are apps for iphones and androids but what if you're not spending $110 a month for your phone? Even an MP3 suitable for all players would work.

Once you learn how to use it. You won't go without.,

I have had this unit for years and it may be a little complicated but you will be able to do more and use it more than some regular timer. Additionally when I had technical issues the owner exchanged it for free.
