highly entertainig. has good acting cast. great music.great comic moments.present and in the past story line. love scenes, a western. harsh language. shoot-em up. vengance. the best motor cycle photo/documentary/video i have ever seen. feel like i could ride a bike naturally after watching this movie.

slick, well thought out, well made. bravo!!!!!a keeper!!!!

i felt robbed when i bought the dvd version and found that one of the two ending, main eliments were missing why did they do that?!a softer rating sellout? that ruined the story line!!! buy the vhs version and see the way the producer wanted you to see it.

This movie is one of the first innovative time travel movies of the modern genre. One little known fact is that it was directed by Michael Nesmith (of Monkees fame) and has some excellent toungue-in-cheek moments. A must see and probably own. I'll buy the DVD if it's ever released.

I saw this flick in the movies when it was released and have a VHS copy I recorded from cable. Great flick. I never get tired of watching it. At the end, reaction of the outlaws when the...well I don't want to spoil it.

But speaking of the end. I picked up a DVD copy from somewhere (I forget where) and the changed the scene dealing with the demise of Peter Coyote's character. In the original release he quite literally, gets cut of at the ankles by the tail rotor of the, you know. In the release I have he is left whinning on a rock like a little bitc...baby.

What's up with this?

Not only is Michael Nesmith the producer, but he wrote the music. If time travel, Yamaha 500cc singles, and many humorous moments are your cup of tea, then check this movie out. I own the VHS, and like all of the other reviewers, would buy the DVD if it came out, in less than one rev of a big thumper (about one-tenth of a second)!

Good acting performance, solid and unique story blend right into racing stunts in the desert mixed up with a time experience that worked on Fred Ward just right. This incredible movie blew my socks off.

Bright,fresh,fun time travel when desert motocross cyclist Fred Ward stumbles across a time experiment in a 'desolate' area and unknowingly continues his race thru the old West.Clever use of irony and time paradox that never gets in the way of the action.Also you may never look at a zipper the same way again.Deserves watching.

Throw away your briefcase, get on the plane and head for the Baja 1000, or maybe the empty, desolate and beautiful Great Basin country northeast of Las Vegas. Take along a big 500cc single, such as the Yamaha XT550 used in the movie, and get ready for some low-flying enduro riding. This movie has great visuals and soundtrack. Fred Ward is in character as Lyle Swan, the enduro rider who gets mixed up in a time travel experiment. He gets sent back to the Baja of the wild west. Belinda Bauer as Claire Sineau is an all-action woman of the 90's yet is compelling and seductive. Peter Coyote and others lend spice to this unsung film. The location is right-on, and I could have sworn that I was back in Baja! Kick off your motocross boots and enjoy!

I really enjoy fantasy-sci-fi movies. This was a fun movie with a good twist at the end. Too bad they did not make more in the line.
