LA Times 2010 Crossword Puzzles Year In A Box Calendar

Having not read the fine print on the photo of the cover, I ordered this, not realizing that it is no longer 100% crossword puzzles. What a dirty trick. This is an annual tradition Christmas gift for my father, and he does not do the other two types of puzzles. He enjoys challenging himself daily to complete the crossword puzzle. Now only 1/3 of the calendar will be of any use to him. I hope others complain, so that they will fix this in 2011!

I've never written a review of a product before, but I just opened my calendar, and I agree with the other 2 reviews. I, too, didn't read the fine print and was expecting 365 crossword puzzles. While I DO do the other types of puzzles, I already bought calendars with those types of puzzles on them, and was looking forward to the Los Angeles Times crossword puzzles I do every day. I, too, hope enough people complain so that the 2011 calendar will be back to all crossword puzzles again.

I also give this to my father every year as a Christmas gift; he loves the crossword puzzles. He's going to be so disappointed to find out the crosswords are only every third day. I agree with the previous review; what a dirty trick!! Will not be buying these calendars in the future.
