This is a termendous EP. Each of the 5 cuts on this album are are good clean tastes of what the band Jeremiah Freed is building to be... It's like seeing the look on someone's face right after they thought of an idea of the century! It's got a smooth flavor that varies from track to track, and just pulls you in so deep, you'll actually have an EP on repete... ;)

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good, too short., June 13, 2003

I love Jeremiah Freed and this ep is good, but it is just 5 songs (and i can't stand the song that they cover, Joe does well and you can really feel how powerful his voice is, but i just CAN'T stand that song!). It's a pretty good mix of all their different sounds. I would recommend trying to get your hands on a copy of their independant release, it's their best to date. Don't rate solely on their major label release, to be honest, it's not that great, but if it's all you can get then get it anyways! They have a very rock sound, they have done shows with Lynyrd Skynyrd and they have sold out local venues by themsleves. They have a very solid and loyal fanbase in New England with a few fans from outside the area. So it's gets a four because it's too short, and they should've covered a different Beatles song.

This cd shows how much the boys have grown and they are a kick ... band. If you wanna hear one killer cover listen to track 5('With a Little Help From My Friends') and you surely won't be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars an interesting follow-up..., June 9, 2003
This review is from: Times Don't Change (Audio CD)
Maine rockers Jeremiah Freed released the best cd I have ever owned in their self-titled debut album. Their EP follow-up, "Times Don't Change", has been available only at Bull Moose music stores in New England. But buy it now!!!

Devil's Only Friend- Great song with a great drumming part. Good opening song. "So pack a pair if you plan on leaving town." 4 of 4

Blinded- Their 1st single. I really like this song and it is very good live. "Anyone can see that I'm the same man I've always been." 4 of 4

Train Come Crashing- The train did crash! Not as strong as the first two songs. 2 0f 4

Raven- A nice, slow one. Mellow, but I don't really get the lyrics. "I swear I've seen that dress before"???? 3 of 4

With a Little Help From My Friends- Cover of the Beatles song. Just not the same as when the Fab Four did it. Joe tries too hard with the vocals. But a very good try! 2.5 of 4

I love JF, and you will too! I strongly suggest picking up the self-titled first, and if you like it (which I know you will!) pick this one up.
