About the Author

Will Shortz has been the crossword puzzle editor of The New York Times since 1993. He is also the puzzlemaster on NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday and is founder and director of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. He has edited countless books of crossword puzzles, Sudoku, KenKen, and all manner of brain-busters.

I bought this book of crosswords because of the large
print. I subscribe to the New York Times daily but the print size in all the newspapers these days is very small.

For the same reason I bought a Kindle a couple of years ago. Something that Amazon has not advertised, or at least I have not seen, is that the type size on the Kindle can be enlarged. This is a boon for people with poor eyesight.
