About the Author

Will Shortz has been crossword editor of The New York Times since 1993. He is also the puzzlemaster on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday and is founder and director of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.

My mom loves crossword puzzles, but it's hard to find good crossword books in large print that she hasn't done already. In the past, I've bought her The New York Times Large-Print Crosswords for Your Bedside: Light and Easy Puzzles, so I decided to get this edition as well. She did say that she breezed through them, but she still enjoyed the puzzles, and she always appreciates the large print due to her poor vision.
