The Time's Up/Time Out line has a standard timer built into the stuffed animal. You set the timer for 1 minute to 60 minutes. Young children don't understand the difference between 3 minutes or 3 hours. These cute stuffed animal timers make the abstract idea of time into something they can see, hear, and touch.
The Time's Up/Time Out line by JAAG reduces tantrums and arguments in children. Transitions from one activity to the next are easier for everyone when the kids know it's coming. Learning to take turns gets better when the child knows it will be their turn again when the timer goes off. Time Outs are more effective as a reflecting period when they can hear the timer ticking away the minutes. Time limits on activities are set in advance with a clear end point.

I recently purchased this product with high hopes of motivating my toddler both for Time out and on-time behavior. Sadly, the timer does not work well. It is very quite and frequently does not even go off. It can not be set for a short duration, it doesn't go off at all if set below 5 minutes. It is a big disapointment.

Timer on product did not work but I called the company and they gave me a full refund and did not have me send it back as I would have had to pay shipping cost. My daughter still likes the bear tho. Overall not a great product but the company ges a five star rating.

We have had this time-out bear for a few years and it's been worth it's weight in gold! When it comes time to say "You're need a time-out for 2 mins" or "5 mins until we leave!", having the bear to do the dirty work for you is great. Whereas I used to have to deal with my kids arguing with me everytime one of these issues came up, they don't argue with the bear. They stay in time-out until the buzzer goes off, or they get ready to go right away (usually) when the buzzer goes off signaling time to leave. It's also really cute and the kids love to play with it. My only issue is that you have to scroll the dial all the way around to 60 mins, then back to the number you want to set it for, which was confusing for a while.
