I recently purchased this product with high hopes of motivating my toddler both for Time out and on-time behavior. Sadly, the timer does not work well. It is very quite and frequently does not even go off. It can not be set for a short duration, it doesn't go off at all if set below 5 minutes. It is a big disapointment.

Timer on product did not work but I called the company and they gave me a full refund and did not have me send it back as I would have had to pay shipping cost. My daughter still likes the bear tho. Overall not a great product but the company ges a five star rating.

We have had this time-out bear for a few years and it's been worth it's weight in gold! When it comes time to say "You're need a time-out for 2 mins" or "5 mins until we leave!", having the bear to do the dirty work for you is great. Whereas I used to have to deal with my kids arguing with me everytime one of these issues came up, they don't argue with the bear. They stay in time-out until the buzzer goes off, or they get ready to go right away (usually) when the buzzer goes off signaling time to leave. It's also really cute and the kids love to play with it. My only issue is that you have to scroll the dial all the way around to 60 mins, then back to the number you want to set it for, which was confusing for a while.

I am a first grade teacher and have used this timer for three years now. It is an excellent way to measure time for kids. The girl who is behaving the best and working gets to have it on their desk. They love it!!
They can't wait for it to be time for Mr. Bear to come out. I am actually planning on buying another one, different animal so it can have a friend.

My daughter has 2 boys ages 2 and 4. This is perfect for them for sharing and also time outs. They have only used it 2 weeks so I don't know how long the timer lasts because they keep spinning it around forward and backwards but for the moment it's great.
